"BECAUSE OF CERTAIN IDIOTS OUT THERE THAN ARE TOO SENSITIVE....THIS BLOG ENDS ASAP. I AM PUTTING SOME MINI RANTS BELOW OF THINGS I WANTED TO BLOG IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, BUT IT HAS TO END NOW. SO READ QUICK WE ALWAYS SAID IF YOU CAN'T TAKE THE SHIT WE WRITE, THEN DON'T READ IT. FOR THOSE OF YOU SENSITIVE PUSSY'S OUT THERE THREATENING TO "FIND MY IDENTITY" AND GO TO MY HOSPITALS ETHICS COMMITTEE, NO ONE MADE YOU READ. I WELCOME YOUR THREATS AND ENCOURAGE YOU TO DO SO. YOU ARE PUSSIES AND WILL NEVER GET YOUR FAT ASSES OFF YOUR COUCH ANYWAYS. ANOTHER GREAT SITE, ERSTORIES.NET, IS BEING TAKEN DOWN FOR SIMILAR REASONS. PEOPLE ARE TOO DAMN SENSITIVE. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE....GO FUCK YOURSELVES. ER DOC."
Keep it classy.
I haven't read that blog in ages, but I'm sure happy to hear that it's ending.
ReplyDeleteSure, ER docs deal with a lot of people who aren't really having an emergency and are abusing the system. It must be frustrating. That's really no excuse for the docs to present themselves as vulgar and unprofessional. When they dwell on the bad instead of the good, they just make it worse for themselves (basic life-approach tips I teach my kids when they're little - someone who's graduated from college should certainly have learned it by now).
Hope things are looking up for you!
Bet you folks just *love* Nurse K too.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad, some blogs really do present medical folks, especially those in the ED, in quite a bad light. Really makes people want to trust the medical "professionals".
Wow...that's one miserable doctor. I sincerely hope that I never reach that stage in my life (or at least have the sense and decency not to blog like that!).
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was kind of...strange. I heard a lot of doc blogs got hit by some kind of HR sweep.
ReplyDeleteM
Whoa. Never read it, but for a moment I thought that someone hacked into your blog or that you had cracked.
ReplyDeleteSO glad that's not the case!
LOL...OMDG, I may well feel at times like I have cracked, but at least I'm not as jaded and miserable as ER Doc!
ReplyDeletePOP - If you missed the post before his blog went offline, it seems that a group of Fibromyalgia patients contacted him and threatened to expose him to his hospital.
WSocks - I understand the desire to vent too. I appreciate reading about doctor's experiences and frustrations, but like you said, there is no need for vulgarity and abusive language!
SolDiner - One would think that the use of all caps, followed by a rant of profanity might be a sign that it is time to 'sign off'. I hope you never come close to that kind of misery in your work!
