I'm working on a paper about aesthetic representations of the illness experience. I figured I would give it a try myself.
This particular migraine lasted 6 days until I caved in and attended the urgent care centre. I would have gone sooner, but was worried that I would look like a drug seeker.
Amazing how useless Dior glasses are when you can't leave your bedroom or ensuite.

I heard of a photographer who used to do cat scans of every day objects. I thought his idea was neat, but yours is better.
ReplyDeleteDo you recall the name of the photographer? I'll have to google that one.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea if this would work, but I have to say, I think it conveys my experience really well!
Can't remember the name, but it was in the New York Times health section sometime in the past couple of years.
